# velocirepo add-view


Create a new view directory with render.sh and template files. The name can include slashes for subdirectories (e.g., reports/weekly`-s`tars).

    Usage:
      velocirepo add-view <name> [flags]

    Flags:
      -f, --framework string   framework: quarto-python, quarto-r, jupyter, marimo, r, sql (required)
      -h, --help               help for add-view
          --no-uv              skip pyproject.toml generation
      -s, --source string      data source: duckdb or parquet (default "duckdb")

    Global Flags:
          --config string   config file (default: walk up for velocirepo.toml)
      -q, --quiet           suppress progress output
      -v, --verbose         enable debug logging
